Obama and the Pulse of Humanity

Well, I won’t deny I am glad this US election is now over, for it has been a very long winded and tiresome process to follow that has drained me somehow. It was only in the last week of proceedings that I actually took the time to go into the details of the different parties, the different candidates and what they truly stood for. I discussed many points with people on Facebook, on Myspace and just in general conversation and no doubt came across as a complete cynic of the whole process.

I am glad that Obama has won the election and not Macain – for his VP to state “The war on Iraq is a holy war” is an immediate campaign killer in my book. The reasons I am glad Obama won though are not because he represents a lot as the first black president (which I feel is racist, ill come back to that), and not because he has promised so many changes which seem to be in tune with what people want. I am glad he won because his campaign, and his winning and proven one thing – humanity is still alive, we still have a pulse. People were seemingly going into mental coach potatoe mode and just not giving a shit about a single thing. Im not talking about global politics too much here because to be quite honest I think we give a shit too much in that regards – we need to stop sticking our nose in all over the world. We need to meet other countries, cultures and lifestyles on equal terms, not go there and say be like us and we’ll trade with you.

I really feel that Obama will disappoint – and this is a huge shame because I feel it is not want he wants to do. He has a lot of ideas, and they are great ideas, and some of them are going to come to fruition, but as has been mentioned in my previous posts, they are still bound by the authority of the central banks, and if the central banks don’t want him to do something, he will suddenly find himself without the money to do so – its happened before many times and this is not looking like it would be any different. Yet it really doesn’t matter – he has not even stepped into power yet but his work is done – he revived a nation, and partially the world, and their spirit for social change. He rallied people up and said make a stand, make a difference. Over 100 years ago all it took was one American leader to realise the terrible nature of the central banks and to close them down. His legacy never lasted though and the powers that be had the central banks reinstated soon after. This status quo has remained to this day. Obama will not be the man to bring about the same change, but he may just be the early stages of it’s beginning.

From the whole thing I will take one thing away – I have renewed my faith in the human collective consciousness – its there, its still alive and can still be put to work. Lets hope there are agencies of change out there can make the right use of it.

You’re not cynical, just realistic. Even with the best of intentions the leaders of the “civilised” world have been puppets for a long time.
Money is the root of the problem, and media manipulation is the method. One wonders how much of this NWO/Bilderberg/Bohemian Grove stuff ISN’T paranoia.
If I was a really cynical person, I’d wonder about his granny.

Obama wants to make radical changes to bring in a universal health-care system – which can only be an improvement – BUT, while Obama may talk about pulling troops out of Iraq, it’s only to put them into Pakistan and Afghanistan instead.
Plus ça change, plus ça même chose!

    Love,

I’m also glad that he won.
Let’s face it, he won’t be able to satisfy everyone and will have to favor some of reforms over others.
But at least, I have good hope that he will jumpstart a new era : more people and Earth oriented.
Yeah it seems that the world is not completely dark and hopeless after all. Sleepwalkers are starting to awaken…
